Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! This year is the year I officially reduce my hours at the day job to allow me to really focus on my business. I have wanted to do this for such a long time but I could always think of a reason why I should hold off for a while.  Now the time has come for me to stop making excuses, take a risk and believe in myself! Starfish save the date

Crystal leaves save the date

I was commissioned to come up with some designs for a wedding based in Cyprus.  The bride to be was fairly relaxed with what she wanted, I was just asked to give them a holiday theme and incorporate the colour scheme – Persian Plum. This is the first of a set of 4 designs I came up with.  This one, I layered textured card in plum and crisp white, used a quirky font and finished the invites off with a plain rope tied with crystal leaves in the requested plum colour.  Then of course added a couple of diamantes for added sparkle! Classy Aubergine

This commission came about after one of my lovely friends recommended me to a good friend of hers. The brief was quite simple, they wanted something elegant and classy, not too fussy – oh and the colour theme was ivory and aubergine! To help create the ‘classy’ feel, I used a pocketfold invite.
